Today, Cherokee Village is home to 4,700 full-time residents along with some 26,000 property owners residing in every state in the nation and more than 20 countries.

 

Following the successful launch of Cherokee Village, the John A. Cooper Company evolved into Cooper Communities, Inc. and Cherokee Village became the model for the company’s future communities including Bella Vista Village and Hot Springs Village in Arkansas, Tellico Village in Tennessee, and Savannah Lakes Village in South Carolina.  Cooper Communities more recent developments include Glade Springs Village in West Virginia, Creekmoor in Missouri and Sienna Lake outside of Little Rock, Arkansas.
