Shortly thereafter a YMCA camp (Miramichee) and a girl scout camp (Kiwani) were established nearby. In the early 1940’s another boy scout camp (Cedar Valley) was established along South Fork River.
Generations of scouts, campers and northeast Arkansas and Memphis-area families, and many others from across the country, share a special bond to these waters and to this land. Countless lives have been shaped during time spent in these hills. We celebrate this heritage as we welcome new generations of families to create their own special memories here.
